This quilt was found in a closet, and Susan and her sister wanted to finish it for their Mom, who had pieced this, as the story was told to me, as a first and maybe even only quilt. I have to say, if this half-square triangle was a first quilt she did an amazing job of piecing. But that maybe explains the only--triangles can be challenging.
There was such a variety of fabrics in this quilt---so lovely.
