Tradewinds was a free pattern offered by one of the fabric manufacturers a few years ago, for using a jelly roll. I see that it is no longer a free pattern.
Yvonne made this as a wedding gift (I'm beginning to see why there's been such a break in blogging, I was waiting for all these gifts to be gifted), and she reports that the recipients are thrilled.
This quilt got large E's and 3's, adding nice movement and texture.
The backing was a lovely flannel.

En Provence 1
This is Lori's En Provence, which was Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville Mystery quilt in 2016. There were 5 of us who each did this quilt, we had so much fun fabric shopping, and comparing units. It has been really fun watching each of them come together, and how different they are.
Lori has gifted this quilt to her sister, who had a significant birthday. We are all convinced Lori loves her sister very much, as there are 841 3" units in this quilt, only 64 of them are not pieced. Lori calculated something north of 3000 pieces.
A simple open curl provides nice movement and texture to this quilt.

Southwestern Quilt
Aren't the colors and shapes in this quilt great? Vicki made this for her son's 18th birthday/graduation.
Here's a partially quilted shot to see the difference quilting makes.
I was saving sharing this quilt until after it had been gifted in late August--and then I guess I saved it a few more months.
I don't often quilt out a pantograph, but Square Spiral seemed appropriate for this quilt. I like how it adds both lines and curves, and is also very geometric, as is the quilt pattern.
If I recall correctly, it's a grey thread, it's sure showing brightly in this photo below, but the backing is true black--it's so hard to photograph minkee properly.
