A Very Hungry Caterpillar

 Who remembers Eric Carle's book?   I imagine anyone with kids does.  It was a favourite in our house.  I found a youtube of him reading the story.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkYmvxP0AJI

  I also have a teenager who resembles this hungry caterpillar....one of this and two of these and three of that.    Always hungry.

This adorable quilt was made by Ann and Beth, (the maternal and paternal Grandmothers), for their first Grandchild. 

I used a pale green thread.  

We chose a 100% cotton batting.

 I just love love love that Ann and Beth made this quilt together.  What a special gift.

 The leaves in the border show better on the backing.
