Antique Replica

 

This is Heather's amazing quilt.  It's a replica of an antique quilt they had seen at the Alberta Quilt Study Society.  someone had brought it in to a documentation day.    The center is hand-pieced and then there is machine piecing.  The original was in silks.  

The center of this quilt reminds me of a Chinese Checkers game board.

 This quilt got edge to edge freehand feathers to give it a nice even texture.

Heather used so many fun fabrics in this quilt.
