Irons

 This is a cute baby quilt Dana brought me, and while I have no idea what the pattern is called, to me the shapes looked like old fashioned irons, and so that's what I call this quilt.

My Mom had a collection of antique irons---lots of sad irons, an old kerosene iron, some you could put hot coals in, a few electric, a fluting iron for ruffles....so maybe that's what made me think this way.

 Cute fabrics and a simple E's and 3's to add movement and hold it all together.

and a fun forest friends print for the backing.  It must be someones birthday.
