Sprinkles. This is a Jaybird Quilts pattern, which I increased the size of the pieces to make it lap sized rather than baby sized. I made this for a young friend, who had completely worn out her existing quilt, which also had 6 pointed stars, and she really wanted 6 pointed stars again. .
She had given her Mom and I some ideas as to her favorite colors and a bit of a color inspiration in the form of a poster, and her Mom did an amazing job of pulling colors from that poster
She also very much wanted a minkee backing, like the quilt I had made for her Mom.
